WTB: PROFLEX 856 / 956 BIKE OR FRAME.

I can't believe the bug hit me again after more than 10 years! Must be a middle life crisis. I am located in Clifton, NJ and looking for an affordable MTB. Loved the Proflex back in my riding days (I used to ride a Viner hardtail equipped with a mag21, just so you know how long ago I am talking about) so why not look for an old weird looking full suspension? I am 5-11/ 33 in leg so I guess a 18" or 19" would be my size but I don't know with those frames. Hit me with what you have...no, leave that wooden stick alone! Thanks for the space.

Thanks for the tip. Not exactly what I was looking for but it would do if the size is right. I really liked them up to the 856/956 series, possibly without the seatpost hole. I never really liked the carbon fiber stuff, I know it's light but more difficult to work with if you want to play with it (i.e. add a disk brake bracket). I know, not too retro but...

I contacted the guy, we'll see. It looks nice and a close match to what I was aiming at.

Anyone needs to get rid of a great bike?
