The most expensive models tend to be the ones with the lightweight aluminium rails. They're very distinctive - cut from plate and oriented vertically. You need a special clamp to fit them.

it depends on the number , I have seen some fetch more than $5000 .

they are usually associated with Rene Herse bikes , which are very rare and sell for up to $10000 .

$5k. On a saddle? Certainly puts the C-26 frame in context.
