in 1998 i started in the cycle trade. we still had a pile of these no one bought. one of my first jobs was to fit them to the hire bikes for students to use.

in 94 a friend installed a brand new white onza porc on the back of his kona. between 5 of us, taking it in turns, we then skidded it down to the carcus on the freshly tarmac-ed road leaving nice white lines. it didnt take long. the tyre cost 11quid from the bike shop as no one wanted them back then
