I realise that these are too modern for this section, but these wheels are sure to appeal to both the pre and post 97 forums. I bought these fairly recently from another forum member and was over the moon with them as they look totally unused! They have no damage or marks whatsoever are are totally true. I bought these for a project that never got off the ground and although I really wanted to hold on to them, my desire for carbon cyclocross wheels means that I have to let these beauties go.
These really are a super high quality set of wheels, with beautifully made White Industries front and ENO rear hub, double butted black spokes, black alloy nipples and Mavic XC717 rims with eyelets and machined sidewalls. The front wheel is radially laced as is the non drive side of the back wheel. The shimano freewheel is also included. For those who haven't come across the White Industries ENO rear hub, it uses an ingenious eccentric axle to allow any frame to be run single speed without the need for a chain tensioner, it really is a superbly engineered solution.
I'd like to get back what I paid for these, which was a bargain £225 posted in the UK. You couldn't buy the hubs alone for that price.
