Which rides better ? which to build first ??

Re:

The front runners were always the Marin and the Univega.

I shall build the Univega first as it only needs a few bits and then the Marin. Sometimes you can have too much choice

As my Wife always says, you only have one pair of legs - why do you need 7 bikes :p

Someone slap me please :p

I wouldn't call a Univega (well the higher end ones) a meh bike.

With the exception of Fluffychickens Ex team RM Altitude I've yet to ride a nicer frame than my Alpina 5.5.

So am I  so if you get a 'special bike' you will make an effort to get fit, take supplements for ze ol kneez and hang out with the yoof at the local pump track. Univega sounds like a weird entry that came last in Eurovision. I know the bikes advertised in the mags bitd etc but nobody important raced or won races on a Univega....

Iraqi Lawee marketed the Univega brand using the taglines "Discover the difference" and "Ride it your way" and began marketing their Alpina series of mountain bikes in the early 1980s.

The man was a genius clearly...

Re:

Take ChrisV40's advice, he has all of them, ok I think the marin went eventually, kinda loose track the rate they come and go, but his Univega has stayed with him.
