Which Regina Freewheel & Chain

For a c.1980 Italian bike with Campag NR, which 6 speed Regina freewheel & chain would be correct? Info on Velobase etc. is patchy.

The "CX/CXS" Freewheel seems to be more mid-80s, but is the earlier "CX" freewheel okay?

Failing that, which should I try to find? I'd prefer silver to gold, so Corsa in silver? Tough to find...

Hi,

the CX arrived in 1980 with a `2 dog' removal mechanism. After a couple of years it got the circular `serrated' removal tool. The 2 dog CXs are very rare so the right fella for you is the `Extra' or `Oro' (gold) if you're feeling flash, also with the 2-dog. There's plenty of these around - I'll PM you some links. Better get a matching chain as well, of course.

Also worth considering Everest (Caimi) for this era for Italian authenticity.
