Wheelsmith hand built road race wheelset from Derek McLay, one of the finest and most experienced wheel builders around. These are a couple of years old but due to injury have never been ridden. Correctly stored indoors (not a garage) and therefore as brand new and in perfect condition. Very high spec with receipts to prove £600 plus cost. Superb build quality and very lightweight, yet strong, reliable and easily serviced. Unlike a lot of exotic and overpriced wheelsets around these days. Shimano 10 speed freehub and supplied complete with the original PMP lockring, special tool and all paperwork. Looking for SOLD collected from Sheffield or shipped within UK at cost.

Hubs: PMP, black anodised, Shimano 10sp freehub
Rims: IRD Aero 30mm clinchers, black, machined braking surface, 20 hole front, 24 hole rear
Spokes: Sapim CX-Ray black, Sapim Polyax alloy Silver nipples on front wheel, brass Silver nipples on rear
QR Skewers: Zero Ti (front 46g, rear 43g)
Tyres: Schwalbe Ultremo ZX 23c
Tubes: Schwalbe (with rim tape)
Weights: Front: 701g Rear: 921g (without tyres, tubes or skewers)

Given that I have recently been diagnosed with an untreatable spinal disability (that also means I will never cycle again), very hard indeed.

I suffer from Spondylosis of the lower lumbar spine and three discs are completely gone
and suffer greatly and the doctors are amazed how I can still ride a bike, I have bad days
and really bad days but on the good days I try to get out on my bike.

Don't give up mate.

No worries mate Life sucks when you get older and when I pass away God is going to get a chump from me!!!
