Click or whirr?

Fulcrum hubs have a very similar freewheel mechanism to Hope if you want to do it on the cheap.

If whirr is OK and money no object, then King and DT are good.

But what's wrong with Hopes?

i use mainly hope, have pro 2 hubs on my st4 and my 07 clockwork, my evo2 is runnning on dt, i'm happy with sound on all of them, i considered king at one point but, and i know this could very far against the grain . . . i HATE the sound of them! drives me nuts!! :x

I have a machine Tech rear hub with a freewheel that sounds like a machine gun. A question of personal taste if you like it or not but it did let pedestrians know you were coming. Also encouraged you to keep peddling.

i have some DDG hubs which make quite a nice ratchety clicky noise
