I need a decision from you guys, do I need to buy this? :)
Also, since this is the first time I see this frame, any info appreciated.
Are they alloy tubes glued to cast-alloy "lugs"?
What year it is?
Is that a solid elastomer block on the back?

Don't know anything about the bike but it sure looks industrial. Likely clued as most manufacturers did with those type of frames so do check carefully if you purchase. Seems there is a lockout on the rear shock, don't think I would use that, too much stress on a bike with so many "moving parts". I'd snap it up and add to the collection due to it being so unique.

it seems I was reading it wrong, and it's RSA not BSA
and all of a sudden there is plenty of info, even here :)

If this is the Titanal version of the RSA - they tend to have cracks. Those Titanal tubes were rolled and welded from sheet metal. Those welds were very problematic and would tear just from sitting. There were brands - like Hercules - that didn't have those problems. But these Wheelers sadly did.
I read that they were made by Gally, later models used normal Aluminium tubing. I do not know how to tell them apart.

All that aside - I really like the looks of that frame. I'd buy it if the price is right.

hi, yes it's RSA.

And BTW, this isn't a typical Wheeler Bike made in Taiwan, but this was produced by Gally in Germany for Wheeler and others.
Same model was for instance also sold as Audi Quattro R2 Bike.
Gally went bankrupt because of all the issues and legal impact related to the bursting Titanal tubes.

Here is a picture of an Wheeler flyer from 1994

World Championship pro racer Albert Iten was successfully using this or the aluminum variant as mentioned from Thias for a while for XC.
