some tips on buying a MTB RETRO. In France retros bikes websites
are rare so I am on your site. I am a
student who wishes to buy a bike to get around the city as much as
campaign. I did some research and I found some bikes

Cannondale f700 1998 : 221 GBP

for city use forget the proflex - suspension is not your friend on roads

What he ^ said! Forget full suspension bikes for on road purpose! I'd go for the Sbike (it's from 1993 I think) or the Sunn. Don't know what groupset the Sunn has though! Try to get more information on that!

Personally, I'd go for the Cannodale or the Marin. As cce said, forget retro full suspension for road riding, it'll just soak up all your pedal power.
