What year is this yeti?

That is not a Yeti. By a Yeti Diehard.
Well. There are evidently plenty of people dropping premium cash on big wheeled, carbon Yetis, seemingly united only by the love of a cute head tube badge and the colour turquoise.

The fact that these bikes aren’t built from patched-up Varilite doesn’t seem to diminish demand.

Any bike that gets you out on the hill and having fun is a good bike, and for £170, it's not breaking anybodies bank. Pretty head tube sticker is a bonus.

That is for sure, and has his history so it has some interest.

There is annother Yeti that is not a Yeti, like a Kona tat it was not a Kona because it was used by a Team.

Do you remember this one? Yeti Lawhill DH6 (And DH4 for dual slalom) or homegrown 8 ... Yeti was sold to the same conglomerate that own Schwinn so they make in colaboration this frame. But Yeti was not profitable. Years later when Yeti was near the abyss, some of the empoyees of Schwinn rescue Yeti, one of them is the current boss (at least was in 2017) ;)

Until the new Infinity era, Yeti was a bit lost. But now it is again one of the big players.

This may be the Yeti / Schwinn that I'm remembering.

Two questions please:

1/ did Schwinn sell this suspension frame design as a Schwinn or any other mtb brand?

2/ was the frame made in the USA?

thanks
