isn't strictly a retro bike question (apologies) am basically thinking about p'x/ing my 2010 giant anthem x2 bike and going for a charge duster steel bike
Charge-Duster-Mid-2011.jpg
probably this one (as i don't think they have any hi models in small anymore :( have a hankering to go back to steel ht again (after remembering the great times i had on my old 1992 marin eldridge grade bike).don't get me wrong, the anthem is a fantastic bike, but i really do not need fs for where i ride (to be honest) marlbrough downs/ridgeway/salisbury plain. another thing would be cheaper to service/less to go wrong. if i did go the charge route, was planning on swapping the bike for it (then upgrading stuff on it as funds allowed) as i am unemployed at present. have asked this on other forums, but would be interested in your replies. thanks for your time :)

Based on that^^^^ pic, I'd do it too....

Out of interest, does anyone know what cranks they are??

GT-Steve the chainset is a SRAM X7 2.2 10spd 42-28 here is a link to spec of bike for anyone who is interested (they still have this model in stock in all sizes i think?) http://www.wiggle.co.uk/charge-duster-m ... n=products i think i am going to swap for this bike,as i really loved the marin.have read good things about the ride of the duster steel bikes (is made out of the same tubing that my marin was tange prestige :D cannot wait to ride it :D

After seeing these on the stand at mayhem i'd go for it as for a modern they are gorgeous.

Saw one of the Charge team ladies ones and it was tiny and bright Pink  the tubes are really skinny.
