What winter gloves do you use

I've got some cheap fleece type gloves I bought in Halfords a few years back, they're looking a bit scruffy now, but are warm enough for me.
The trouble is, how much you need to wear to be warm enough is very personal, I don't seem to need much; some time ago I was cycling with a friend, wearing my cheap Halfords gloves, my hands were warm as toast, but he complained that his hands were cold, so we swapped gloves, my hands were still toasty warm, his were still frozen. :?

I wear lightweight leather work gloves, treated with boot dubbin. Like these:
Soft and comfortable. Once you've got past the wind issue, it's more a question of keeping your hands dry and making sure you've got decent circulation to your fingers, which latter is much more a bike setup issue.

I purchased some Dexter gloves a year ago. Been using them recently in temperatures of -4 to +5 degrees and they're fine. Anything over +5 and i move back onto the normal full finger MTB gloves with mesh backs.
The thing with just talking about gloves is that their warmth is highly dependent on what else you have on. Overshoes + Thermolite 3/4 shorts + endura windchill jacket + skull cap helps keep your core warm which in turn keeps your hands very warm.
If you hands are cold, take a look at what you've got covering your arms/head/feet.

Maybe I am getting soft as I get older
My attire was thermal bib tights 3/4 length, endura baggies, a long sleeve jersey, a windproof jacket, merino wool snood and skull cap.

I have been using the pearl izumi for years ... lobster works fine with XT thumbs!
Use the soft shell ones now and nice n toasty ... don't get on too well with fully waterproof as find get too sweaty in em
