At that price, I'm defo interested as long as it's not deformed (bent, cracked, dented) or rusted through......or STOLEN.
Boltcutters will make short work of that cable lock. A good sandblasting will remove the crappy paint and any surface rust, and a good powdercoating will make it like new. I can get it sandblasted and powdercoated by a local pro for only $100. A treatment of J. P. Weigle's Frame Saver will best prepare it for a long happy life, especially in the high desert where I live. I'd just want the frame, forks, seatpost, stem, and bars, and you could keep the rest of it (it's less expensive to ship that way as opposed to an entire bike). I'm ready whenever you are - just PM me. Naturally I'd be happy to repay the favor.

I hear you loud and clear about the lock, but it wouldn't be the first time that somebody forgot the combination or lost the key to a bike lock. Of course, it would be vastly different and arouse suspicion or give one pause if the cable lock was routed through one of the wheels, i.e., "locked", and even worse if it was still locked to a cut off part of a gate or an automobile wheel rim.
Hmmm. Besides, I hear that riding one of these bicycle contraptions might actually help me to lose weight.
