It'll be pretty obvious why I bought this, but I'm not sure what it is.
My immediate thought was Rocky Mountain, but it doesn't really match any Rocky I can find. The cable routing, no slope on the top tube, 1" headtube, ovalised seatstays - nothing has that setup. And certainly nothing that came with a Syncros stem, post, and fork.
I feel like this conical and threaded cable stop is what's going to ID this bike, but I can't think of what bike used that.
I couldn't get a good picture of the serial number, but it was M9A 3813 0. Or something close to that anyway.
For parts, it's all DX, except for the XT rear derailleaur. It's a Bontrager rim on the front, and an Araya RM-20 on the back.
Anybody have any ideas?
