Usually a new rim needs different spoke lengths unless it's the same model.
It's also not worth reusing spokes unless the head is struck with a decent brand.
Cheap spokes work-harden and become unreliable.
- We have a stack of old stock rims 10-30£
(New rims cost £30+ as a rule. )
Then we charge 45 labour for a build.
£ 35 is a wheels worth of dt champion spokes and brass nips
This includes calculations.
These prices are fairly standard in the trade.
If you have a matching rim, to be relaced onto an existing wheel, we might charge from £40 labour, as the wheel doesn't need lacing, but mixing new and second hand wheel parts needs a little extra work to settle it in.
