Wanted : Wheelset ( or hubs and rims )

Hi,

I'm looking for a pair of wheels for my 1950s Carlton. Either as complete wheel, or as separate hubs and rims that I can build up. I'm struggling to decide between period kit ( eg. Airlite large flange on Dunlop Lightweight) vs something new ( I've seen some Dura-ace with H Plus Son TB14 but are a bit too expensive and 700c ) so open to suggestions.

Beggars can't be choosers, but preferably :

110mm rear OLD
100mm Front OLD
Fixed. (single, flip-flop, or double fixed )

27in rims
Large flange
Sprint or clincher

Shiny and clean, and without rust, but happy to re-build.

Budget is up to about £250

What have you got, or what do you suggest ?

Thanks

Tim.

Re:

I currently have two sets of wheels, both airlite large flange hubs to fiamme sprint rims. I'm currently deciding which ones I'm going to use for my holdsworth build.

Would you be interested? Both sets are in a1 condition, no rust whatsoever and they run nice and smooth and true.

One pair are anodised red hubs the other pair blue.

Let me know if you'd be interested and I'll sort some pics and prices for you

They sound perfect for the year of the bike.

A picture would be great if that's not too much trouble.

Let me know how much you would like for them.

Thanks very much,

Tim.
