A little over a year ago, I converted a Whyte 901 (2015) to electric - and all was great (mostly).
Yesterday, I found a massive crack in the seat tube. Also truth be told while it was fantastic at offroad, it was not so good at the other job it had to do which is tow an occasionally rather heavy trailer of firewood as weight of said trailer (it's an axle hitch) would sometimes pull the wheel out due to vertical drop out.
Is there a frame, maybe steel, with horizontal or angled dropouts and a similar geometry that might be up for the task? of being converted to electric (BB based motor) and relatively modern geometry for off road. Probably don't want boost and the new fangled wotsits either.
And that doesn't break the bank.
