Wanted - K2 Razorback (circa 1998-2002)

Hey Joglo, did you end up keeping that Razorback or selling it?
I would love to get a razorback size M (16"-17") but don't see many offers around.
The shock doesn't have to be in perfect order.

Hi, yes, kept it, and keep on riding it.
Fork and rear shock are serviced, typical parts like sealing rings etc. are rare but still available.
It works like a charm especially for single trails.

If you like i can keep my eyes open, once in a while i came across an offer of another Razorback in the recent years.

I found this little corker at £50 locally.

Nice to know someone still rides one of these! A beautiful machine, very light but not very strong. They added gussets in 2002 but mine is 2001 make, with a weaker rear triangle that is not quite straighttt. I've been thinking about replacing the frame for quite a number of years but don't see many around. Saw this thread and thought I'd ask.

You seem to have been luckier with Razorbacks - please do shoot me a PM or post here if you run across a bike/frame that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. The only option I see today is XL (https://www.ebay.de/itm/113226391480) but the size is way too big and the price looks a bit... ambitious. :) Nothing on Ricardo or Tutti.

By the way, where are the decals? Did you repaint the frame? :)

If anyone with one of these frames is looking for a rear shock, I have a noleen with a ti spring I have no need for anymore.

Johannes please one more question. :)
What's the headset size in your Razorback 2002?
Is it 41mm top and bottom or 41mm top and 44bottom?

In other words, will it take a tapered 1 1/8 - 1.5" fork?
