Have built up a lovely R J Quinn 531 commuting bike only to realise that it's going to be too small for the person it's intended for.
I'm therefore looking for a replacement frame/forks - a swap would be amazing but I wouldn't mind buying.
Requirements:
- 57/58/59cm square (ctc)
- 531 or similar, to take 27.2 seatpost, British BB, and 700c wheels
- Mudguard eyes (rack mounts are a plus)
- Paintwork in decent condition (7/10 plus) and in a dark colour (e.g. maroon or dark purple) or in tatty condition but cheap.
- A bit of chrome on the forks and rear triangle would be a massive plus, as would top tube and bottom bracket cable guides, downtube bosses, 126 rear, etc etc.
Price:
Including postage/pickup in London - maximum £80-100 for a frameset with good paint, £40-50 for one that needs a respray.
