Wanted - 1 1/8 inch steerer off cut OR Kona Impact or Control Centre headset

Final stages of completing a Kona Explosif rebuild and found the headset was beyond repair.

The result is a new headset but the steerer is about 15mm too shy, hence I need to weld a section on for the locking nut to reach.

Does anyone have any off-cuts or completely knackered project 2s who is able to help?

Alternatively a replacement Kona Impact or Control Centre headset from circa 1994, but suspect these will be near impossible to find.

Also worth trying the steerer swap thread because they often get cut after swapping.

I have a headset for sale off a 95 Kona. It’s good condition. £30 posted UK. Will send pics of internals if interested

Ferreted around in the garage and found a genuine P2 offcut, approx 50mm long. You can have it for postage.
