Wall Mounting frame & forks - how?

PLIW

Old School Hero
Looking too wall mount some frame and forks but struggling for the best way to do it and make it neat.

I had a quick go but not happy. I used some 7.5 x152mm concrete screws. They are just long enough but not ideal.

Looking for ideas.

Cheers

Shroud the screws with some suitable soft protective covering. Or you could use some of those ready made ladder style hooks, red plastic coated in various shapes with a screwed end.

The screws are not really long enough and strong enough as is. Yes I was gonna put some tube over them.

Ideally I want something small and neat to mount the frames

As it's into breeze block, drill some holes with a slight downward angle and then put some 6mm stainless rods in that are covered with clear silicone tubing for frame protection. Simple and cheap.

I know I have some items (2 or 3 of them I think) as suggested in post#2, fairly beefy plastic covered hook type things that IIRC are made for exactly what you need.

If that sounds of interest I'll try and dig them out. They're new unused and packaged. You can have them for postage cost if they might be suitable.

(I'm clearing out all my crap! all bikes/all gear etc)

Yep.Use similar, albeit for hanging bikes by back wheel without scratching rims to hell and back - use the neoprene type below, come in different sizes and probably cheaper copies elsewhere:
