any one use these? looking to replace my headset for a gold one and have spotted this on ebay:

as well as this:

deciding which gold would suit my built better, but also wondering about the VP make - never heard of them before....is there much to look out for with headsets? never really given it much thought as i've never really had any issues with any in particular (not with threadless types that is)

You may well have used vp stuff before and not realised it. Think quite a few generic bits and bobs are made by them.

I've got a couple and very nice headsets.... Very smooth indeed (as you'd expect) and generally a nice quality for the price.

Cheers.

they make things for cane creek amongst others so quality is there for their higher end stuff. never had any problems even with them myself

Had a VP headset on a previous bike, was well made and certainly not "cheap".
Now I think about it I have some VP pedals at the moment too :) they're no worse than my Wellgo pedals (who also make parts for other people).
