Vitus 979 Road bike 54cm £110

A tidy little 54cm Vitus bike, gears work properly but the brakes need new cables connecting up as I was using flat bars but I've put the old drops back on for sale. Clearly had things changed over time as it's a bit of random assortment of parts. But cheap and usable. £130 posted or £110 collected from South Cheshire.

Campagnolo record headset and rear hub, miche front hub and front mech, Shimano rear mech.

Can you help with a bit more info ?

What model is it. What age is it (appx). is it steel or ally and if ally, is it bonded lugs ?

Oh, and what is the hub spacing ?

I am in North Shropshire so collection viable.

I believe it's a 979 (open to correction here), I'd guestimate it was early 1980s, bonded aluminum luged, hub spacing is old so narrow, but I've not measured it.
