It has taken a while but i have finally got a model 310 headset and a rubis seatpost so i can remove the stronglight /campagnolo ones I had and get this build finished at last

I'm trying to get some Mavic parts together as well. I like that chainset, but think as an early '90s build, it would look out of place on mine

Are the gear levers unbranded ?

sure are unbranded levers Ian (I originally had a simplex branded set ) , I also have a choice of 36H Open4CDs on model 500 hubs or 28/32 H GL330s on model 550 hubs too . I'm not sure about riding it though Mike Muz as I am way too heavy I feel

The Look now has mavic brake levers , 821 gear levers and 571 HG cassette Hubs laced to open SUP rims . Are you looking for the starfish 1 or starfish 2 cranks Mike ?

TBH I'M not sure. Looking for a double 39/53 ish. What's the difference mate? And whats the bcd on those mate? Looks like one of those is for a single chainring. I need a 175mm set or longer too.

they are both 130 BCD but ISO taper , the type 2 can fit a smaller big ring , and it looks lighter too if that concerns you ,The type 1 pictured (not mine ) has an incorrect TA large ring by the looks of it. I think the type 2 crank came with the Dia Compe brakeset group and the Type 1 came with the Modolo made brakeset group , there was a later group even that i have never spotted online anywhere
