Vintage Peugeot any info?

Hi

I've just bought an old Peugeot Stanford which is a mountain bike with a little 'm'...

Steel, horizontal top tube but big tyres and canti brakes.

Does anyone know when these were made? 80s / 90s?

Also my plan is to give it a modern path racer look with black north road bars, brooks saddle and brown delta cruisers - can anyone tell me what the handlebar clamp size will be?

You would need to put some photo's of it up to get an accurate date, but looking at google images, I'd guess it's an early to mid-nineties model.

The handlebar clamp size will almost certainly be 25.4mm.

I have a Peugeot of a similar vintage, made of Reynolds 501, but slightly more road orientated (700c wheels and caliper brakes etc). It's super comfy, I love it.
