I have just restored a Vintage Edinburgh Town and Trail Connection and Converted it to a full spec tourer, Does anybody have any Catalogues from the 80s and 90s that they could share? There isn't any Online and I've tried contacting them but no luck.

Thanks.

I may have an Edinburgh catalogue in my collection. Not sure of the date, but I'll try and find it.

Yes indeed😀 I have the 1996 Edinburgh Bicycle Cooperative catalogue here, it’s massive runs to 120 A4 pages. I’ve included a couple of quick pics showing the index of bikes covered, and the Connection 10 model.
(Also got the 2003 catalogue).
If anyone wants any other pages displayed just give me a shout and I can see about getting them properly scanned/uploaded.👍.

Would it be possible to post the Contour 200 page please?
I bought this bike in November 1996 and have just put it back into service for commuting.
Thanks

Hi yes no problem. My laptop has expired, and the scanner that was linked to it☹️
However I’ve attached a couple of pics relating to your Contour 200. Priced at £249.95 and £269.95 back in 1996.

Thank you for posting that. Exactly as I remember the catalogue when planning the purchase of it. I picked up the bike on the day the Stone of Destiny was returned to Edinburgh castle.
Other than a new chain and bottom bracket it's not needed much to make it usable again. The original 25 year old tyres had survived somehow, but have now been replaced.

No problem, these 1990’s bikes were built to last, frame, mechanisms, etc etc. They just keep going and going, especially since I’m not looking to do extreme X-country these days!! B80D1FEF-8634-4D40-A056-307F66D92BDA.jpeg
