Video of old bike races VHS to DVD to Youtube ??

Hi All

So, my mum has found 12 4hr VHS tapes, all full of bike races from 89 to 95, Grundig's NPS Malverns etc.

Id really like to get them on to youtube for all to enjoy.

I have had one put on to a DVD, but does anyone know hoe to move it up to youtube?

You first need to rip the DVD to a format supported by YouTube, like MP4 or WebM. Presumably, the DVD doesn't have copy protection, so that's one obstacle out of the way. There's a free, open source, cross platform program called Handbrake that could do the job but it's not the simplest of programmes to use. Other than that, what you can use to rip the DVD will depend on your operating system and what, if anything, you're prepared to pay.
