Devout Dirtbag
after visiting the Goodwood revival last year, I had to have an old vintage bike. So I bought one, but Swindon's not really cultured enough for this type of thing.

Not sure what sort of interest there would be here, so..

Its black, large, with a leather saddle and 3 speed (cross bar mounted) sturmey archer gears

will take some photo's this weekend

price is what I paid £100 or I'd rather swap for retro bits will post a list of what I need

thanks

lol i m tempted to buy that weld in another head tube an fit some super monster forks an ride around town with a top hat an trench coat

 i guess thats like the classic car of the mountain bike world if you find the right person you could get a good price for that

ok, thanks for the comments...

what I'd like is..

£100 to get some new rims for my modern mountain bike or...

I need a nice pair of wheels (92, 3 or 4 shimano LX or DX) on a nice matching pair of mavic rims

some cranks again LX/DX with good chain rings

and orange stem and hot rod bars 1" quil

thanks

I'm not even showing a photo of the number of old roadster bits I have in my mancave.

That's a nice example. It's good to see a bike with a quadrant shifter that hasn't been broken for parts  . What does the hub say?

Does it have a rod rear brake under the chainstays? That's really cool.
I've just baught one of these, mines in a lot worse nick being covered all over with emulsion and it has the saddle missing but it does have prety cool rod operated drums all round

These make excellent town bikes, nothing cooler in the summer time! Worth every penny of that hundred quid your asking. Good luck with the sale!
