I've seen this bike mentioned somewhere else recently, it's possible it's a factory Kona thing, it's not unknown for Kona to do small batch runs or even one offs from time to time.

Don’t think that’s factory, more been modified by a frame builder to owners request.

Head tube top tube looks brazed, can see remnants of where the top tube originally joined the seat tube higher up, and the third cable boss is an enclosed one totally different to the others.

Looks a good effort though!
