VERY early Shimano disc brakes? Any info.

Hi all

After seeing this on the bay and thinking '1970s disc brake... surely not' However a bit of googleing later I came up with this scan. This seems to show both a cable disc and a hydro available in 1973!!

Does anyone have any more info on this. I always thought discs didnt get developed 'till the late 80s early 90s. To find that a full hydro disc was available in the 70s is a shock.

Yes there have been discs arounmd for donkeys. There are also hydraulic u-brakes to search for that will really niggle your noggin.
