Retro Newbie
Hello Everyone (again),
Trying to sell this Orange Sub 5 on behalf of my friend's widow. Could anyone here offer an opinion as to it's value please?
Thanks,
Tangent.
Specifications:
8081 T6 Aluminium tubing.
Seat Tube: ~45 cm c-c, 51 cm to top of seat post.
Top Tube: ~61cm c-c measured along the tube, ~63 cm c-c measured on the horizontal.
(I think this may have originally been described as an 18 inch frame)
Front Forks: Manitou SXr
Rear Suspension: Fox Racing Shox Float R
Front Derailleur: Shimano Deore XT
Rear Derailleur: Shimano Deore XT
Rear Shifter: Shimano Deore XT
Front Shifter: Shimano Deore XT
Brakes: Hope Hydraulic Disc Brakes
Headset: FSA
Chainset: 44/32/22 Deore XT Cranks
Cassette: 11-32 (9 speed)
The bike is in very good condition apart from the usual scrapes and rubs you get from downhill mountain biking, and everything seems to be in working order as far as I can tell. The gearing which would benefit from a service or some adjustment as the gear changes are not as smooth as they should be, but otherwise the shifters and derailleurs work fine.
