having had the old twin bolt seatpin, couple of years ago bought an Alien, and sad to say, what a piece of shite. It holds the seat, is nice and light, but is an absolute bstard to adjust.
The old one is now copied by some cheapy manufacturer.

I've had USE alien seatposts for a few years and there's a definite "knack" to setting them up but once you've done it a coupla times it's not so bad. My only complaint is the weedy allen bolts they give you! Take care with those buggers and treat as if they're made of gorgonzola!
Ive got one of the use posts on my old mongoose.
Have to say that they are a pain to set up...lovely and light though.....saddle changes have been known to take hours !!!
