I can't help with a spare silver one I'm afraid but if you should fancy freshening up your seatpost and treating it to some new colours then I have NOS seat-clamp parts kits in different colours.

What's the length and width out of interest? I don't have the exact part but do have a very similar steel part that was from an old zoom seatpost (I think). It might be enough to get you going and you can have it gratis

Just dug said part of the tool box.. It's no use to me so I can send it anyway, just in case you need it.

Why not try to hammer it back into shape ?

Use a socket of something solid like that.

Hmm...could give that a try - though it is distorted in a couple of different directions and has been stressed so may be pretty weak after re-working.
Still keen to replace it if anyone has one as an orphaned part
