Bought a bike on here and need to organise a currior, usually use Parcel2Go.com but they are quoting £200+

Who do you use?

Its boxed in standard bike box, 180cm by 20cm by 80cm 15KG

Please help

Ian

If sending in the UK try senditnow. They use parcelforce and it should be a lot cheaper than 200 quid, depending on the value of the contents...

I've sent quite a few bikes with them and never had a problem. You can also pick a more specific time, and if you're early enough in the day they can even collect the same day...

There's your problem. Get those dimensions down a bit and the price will drop like a stone.

I'm naughty and I use dimensions of 100 x 20 x 70cm weighing 15kg when I use www.parcel2go.com

If you use www.senditnow.com , you don't even need to enter box dimensions and, so long as you haven't packaged the bike in something big enough to park a car in(!), you should be fine. I've sent dozens of bikes using both websites and I've never had a problem relating to the size, although there have been one or two occasions when I've used senditnow to collect and deliver a bike to me, and it's arrived with a yellow sticker on it which says that the dimensions breached their terms and conditions. I'd guess that this would be their comeback, should a claim ever be raised.

And I'll echo what has been said above, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE YODEL.

They are the pinnacle of fcukwittery and you'd have more luck if you chucked your bike in a Trebuchet and aimed it in the general direction of where you want it to end up. It would probably arrive in better condition if you did it that way, too.

Getting there......

Going to try using Send it now but have to update Adobe first, using slowest internet connection in Europe, I hate American software..............,

 I now have to go downstairs for a cloth to mop up my tea!

Your PC does not feature a Kleenex dispenser? Am I the only one, again?

Where are you sending the bike from/to.

Details like those should help. :)
