Deore XT M738 STI units. I have never used these so cannot make a statement about their operation. Bottom cover is missing from the right hand lever, but other than that, they seem OK. £20 posted

This is prob a stupid question Which bit of the cover is missing and do you happen to know if the shifter units are removable (I think some were held on with an allen bolt?)
I could do with some xt levers for a single speed project and these might do the job.
