Mint unused 1990 kona lava dome bike £300

Ok after much deliberation I have decided to part with my kona it is a 1990 21.5" frame kona lava dome in yellow splatter paint, just to confirm this bike has covered less than 20 (yep thats right twenty) miles from new !!!
I owned an identical bike twenty years ago and when offered this last year I snapped it up thing is it is so clean I can't bring myself to use it, it still has the original tyres on it (complete with the moulding nobbles).
I can post some pictures if required but it will take a day or so to do as the bike is wrapped in a sheet in the back of the shed, I was amazed by the condition of this bike when I bought it, it is as near to perfect as I have seen, as for price make me an offer (always on the look out for another big road bike) I am on the isle of wight and due to the condition I really want the buyer to pick it up (I am only half a mile from the ryde hover craft)
thanks Charlie

don't meant to be picky but you can't advertise it as unused then say it has covered less than 20 miles from new.
which would suggest it has been used.
just my 2p's worth.

al though some pics would be good, and best of luck with the sale.

That's pretty petty I think.

If you've ever bought a new car, it's allowed to have something like 100 miles on it and still be classed as "brand new". So I think 20 miles is fine.

Just my two pence worth like :D

Well when you buy a bike "brand new" at a bike shop, it has been ridden both by the person who built it and any perspective buyers and you don't get a discount for that because it's used, do you?

But you are right, photos will paint a much better picture!

Come on ladies put your handbags down. ;)

If only if were smaller I'd take your hand off.

Just a simple comment to the discussion:

My observation of the common behaviour on this site is that people don't count anything as nos unless it has actually never been used. I have even seen a member recently hesitatiing to call a front mech for nos just because he mounted it and clicked it once.

This is by no means a critisism to the seller who probably are not too familiar with common conduct on this forum but it does support the advice he was given as to not list the item as unused on this forum.

Whatever the politics, I'm looking forward to a picture or two. Had one of these back in 91. Was nicked outside kingston McDonald's. Was a but gutted as was a great bike. Had more than 20 miles on it though! Very stretched position.

A seller's thread probably isn't the best place to discuss/argue what constitutes new or not so as always can we keep this sort of commentary to a minimum please chaps.

Looking forward to seeing some pictures though, which I'm sure will vastly improve the chances of the bike being sold.

Good luck.
