Unneeded bikes as wall art?

Beautifully handmade Gazelle. I believe these were made to order. Is that from the same workshop that made the Champion Mondial frames?

I think so, but I don’t know? Some idiot widened the cable stops and one is broken. I’ve seen half a dozen others in the meantime (did a build thread ages ago) but it’s the only one I know with U-brake and the old school fork crown. The guy who brazed the canti studs also had one Heineken too much during lunch break, as they are slightly crooked. But I love it

Nos from closed bike shop, I got it on craigslist > 10 years ago, price kept dropping for months and at $800 I finally had to call.

Who doesn't want an m900 merlin - to look at.

Has been hanging in bedroom for past 6 years, leaning against the wall for years before that. Made hooks from 1/4" steel bar stock then hung from wire. For me at least the details of this piece aren't getting old.

Too small to ride, but the sentiment attached is too big to lose, so it hangs in my wife's art studio
She is working on glass wheels for it.
