Wanted Under bb cable guide fixing

How difficult can it be to get hold of one?

I'm trying to find the fixing / screw / bolt that holds the cable guide to the bb shell. I've got a Shimano SP17 M5 but can't find anything to fit...92 Explosif

Anyone know if there's a standard size, or the correct name for it?

Maybe I'm just being a numpty

Yep, I don’t think there was anything other than 1 size.

I’ve got one off a 93 kona but I need that at the moment, I’ll measure it if you need.

Im my experience its normally water bottle boss size bolts as I replace mine with alloy bolts on many of my bikes.

M5 x 0.8 is standard. But there is a fine version too at m5 x 0.5, but ive never had that on a bb hole.
