on a similar note, does anyone know of a traditional gumwall tub that has a heavier tread than the standard vittoria rallye? vittoria used to do a corsa CG which was the heavier tread version of the corsa CX.

Gluewise - don't buy tubes.

Buy tins and brush it on. Also some tubs will need ziptying down near the valve for a while after being pumped up.

Struggling to get the old glue off the rim at the moment. That stuff sticks like, well glue!

Gt 85 is your friend .

Took me 2 days with nail polish remover to do a rim , and 20 minutes with gt85 to do the other .

Just make sure you clean the rims after .
