sooooo! My attempt to bleed my rear brake has proven to be a headache.
I am bleeding hope mono 6ti.
The front went very smoothly and works great.
Rear though is just having none of it , even though the fluid is coming through clear.
I have installed new pads and seals to both prior to bleeding.
Could somebody please tell me what im doing wrong?
So i press on lever , open bleed nipple until the lever touches the bars then i close the nipple and release the lever and the fluid will go down and so on until there is no bubbles in the lines.
I pushed the pistons back and inserted a block of wood.

It is getting on my nerves hulk SMASH!

The rear worked correctly prior to bleeding?

You sure you are not letting air in? With shimano, you get about 3 strokes before the reservoir is low and any more strokes let air in, so be sure to top up the resrvoir at every stroke to be sure.

Re travel, is the lever spongy

No there has not been fluid in them for ages after me fitting goodridge hoses.
Yeah an i top up the fluid when it gets half empty

Are you fitting anything between the pistons to prevent them opening up too much? They recommend a tool or a large Allen key, I forget which size.

Do you have the line almost vertical?
Or running along the frame.

Try hanging the bike up so the hydraulic line is as near as you can get it to straight up and down.

Pretty much, or put the frame on a stand and rotate so the main run (top tube?) is almost vertical.
Dangling works well if it's easy to remove the hose/caliper from the frame,
