Dirt Disciple
I need your help, I just bought this Trek 930 frame & fork with obvious intentions, but I’m struggling (even going through all Trek catalogs) to identify the year...
Canti brakes
Fork & stem 1 1/8
Colour combination I never seen...
Does anyone can help please?

Re:

HA!!Thanks!
I thought it may be 1995 (In Trek 1995 catalogue in archive here the 930 isn’t mentioned), stem looks exactly like 1995, just the fork looks a bit different from 1995, i took it out and its pretty light, so I don’t know if its original (original owner said it is...?)

Unfortunately it’s not NOS, bridges a bit rusted, but the rest seem pretty good.
Can’t wait to build it ;-)

I'm fairly certain that the fork is not original, the other bikes in the brochure have forks which are painted to match the colour of the front half of the frame. Also your frame is painted in the 930 SHX colours, the non SHX version (with rigid fork) is a different colour. More likely that the suspension fork broke at some point and the owner saved money by finding a rigid fork to fit.

Re:

assumes original not respray, its in excellent condition, I'd say around 1994 given fade and two tone but not std colour for that year ?

edit: ok seen 1995 from new post
