Something a bit different! Early German built Towsen Ti frame, sadly these are now welded up in China. Sub 3lb frame weight, ride is sublime and have to say as good as any of the US Ti frames I have owned, with very tidy welds. All in weight is just under 20 with some choice kit.

Towsen

Do you see many of these about in Germany then? It rides very well indeed, very much like Kona Geometry and much better than a Merlin or Litespeed, having owned several of both.

Purple

Good 3dv is not easy to find and big items like seat post/chainsets can be overkill. Would like a headset and Canti's in Purple though.

I havent seen them, I dont think. I have seen a lot of ti framed bikes, but, the fashion here is single speed and de stickered.

I did recognise a dean ti the other day tho.

Im going to a few bikeshops tomorrow after work retro hunting, so il ask around with the german friends i have made.

had one too for years and loved it very much. My frame was in satin finish.

cheers, Jolm

Don't suppose you have any info on the brand do you? I own this now and love it but know very little about the history of Towsen.

Thanks,
Justin
