He doesn't need a minder and I dare say that some give as good as they get but this particular bandwagon is a disgrace. Imo.

I am sure Marin Man is a top bloke, in fact I am betting that is the case, but as far as his posts go on this forum, I am missing the point, as I am finding them a great waste of time. I will be in the UK next year, and I am sure we will have a cracking time over a couple of beers!

If, like me, you have received threatening and abusive PM's from Marin Man, it will take a very long time, if ever, to accept that the guy isnt just an idiot.

I am sure Marin Man is a top bloke, in fact I am betting that is the case, but as far as his posts go on this forum, I am missing the point, as I am finding them a great waste of time. I will be in the UK next year, and I am sure we will have a cracking time over a couple of beers!

Pete.. he's just a different personality to some others.. not everyone will 'get' or understand everyone else.. seems some find it irritating.. but it's just 'people'..

On and off the forum, he's helped a lot of people out and not just with material stuff.. and no, I'm not blowing smoke up his ass..

My post count is accidental.. it just so happens I have a lot of time on my hands, it's not to be applauded.. mocked is cool, ignored is better (post count, I mean)..

I can't comment lgf, that's between you and mm... that's a 2-way street though isn't it? Pretty sure I read, on the open forum, your promise to wrap a frame round his head (regardless of what it was) if you ever met him.
Some folk just ain't going to get along.. but tolerance surely isn't off the radar?? We're all here for similar reasons.. and it's a groovy place to hang out

But anyway.. if anyone is issuing threats by pm, surely that's between you, them and admin?

So? The boys on MTBR are good blokes, and a hoot to ride with, but I stopped posting there years ago because of their "sandbox warrior" mentality on-line. They jury's still out whether you'll get the correlation or not. Seriously, if you find you have a burning need to post your stream of consciousness online, or just see your words come up on your monitor for that matter, start up a blog. Don't subject people that don't want (or more importantly shouldn't have to) deal with it in a forum suffer the results.

Nobody has to read what someone else posts (or pm's).. you make a choice to read the contents of anyones post (or pm).

If you know that user xxx gets on your tits, why read their posts?
