Thanks for the reply.Logically because it's such a small difference it would seem to me to be unnecessary,too,but I thought I'd ask for some opinions anyway.
If you are running 8/9 speed, it isn't an issue. Trying to get 10/11 speed to work might be an issue, given that you are angling the dropouts inward slightly, and the sensitivity of the narrower chains/cogs.
Thanks for the replies.It will be 8 speed,so I'll see as suggested how it fits and performs,but do accept cold setting is probably the best way of dealing with a wider hub.
