Was checking out my bag the other day when I realised its old, very, very old. 21 years old which is about 90 in bag years:

And it's lesser used brother is now 20:

What's more, they've both still got lifetime warranties.

Oh yeah - a converse wearing, tartan shirted, beard growing hipster for the past 25 years. Sadly skinny jeans don't come in my current, er, six-pack size though

Nice retro bags and still one of my favorite for leisure travel. Great success story for sure!

I cant do skinny jeans either Pete. Not my bag.

These bags bring back some memories. I should treat myself to one for the commute to my new job.

Here's a crappy phone picture of my 22 -23-year-old Timbuk2. I know I purchased it from Covent Garden Cycles (RIP) but I can't remember the exact year. I do know that at the time I bought it, Covent Garden Cycles claimed to be the only retailer of the bags in the UK.

Re:

Nice! Look on the back on one of the plastic clips, there should be a date stamp. Think the logo changed in 1991 so that should put it at 23-24 years old (but it could have been in the shop for a while). CGC supplied most of the big courier firm who used these bags so most of the colours they imported were directly linked to the firms - red was 'On Yer Bike' couriers.

Let me know if you ever tire of owning it, that bag is cool!
