Thoughts on frame please.

I have the option of getting this frame which the seller says is a 1987 raleigh, has 531 sticker on. Anyone any thoughts on if the frame is worth getting to build up to something decent or more of a pub bike. Cheers.

How much are you intending to pay?, It looks a decent enough buy at around the £40-50 mark if it has no issues. The photo is not great to give a critical opinion but that bottom bracket looks wrong, check the threads are not stripped and a repair BB fitted. Are you quite tall as it looks about 59cm frame?

Cheers, I'm 6'5 so it being too big isn't an issue, I'm considering it may be a little small if anything. The BB and headset is apparently a campag athena but I'll have to get hands on with some tools to be sure if it's OK or not.
