The cranks were XT M752, and there were no spacers with the BB, though it was 2nd hand, and it is the splined sort. As I say, not really my cup of tea anyway and in a way I'm quite pleased I couldn't use it! I should add I bought the BB separate to the chainset, but it did definitely fit the cranks.
