The Unbuilt

Nothing much now.....sold the lot.

Just got a couple of frames, one of which is my next build (conceptually pretty much ready to go now the saracen is finished) and a spare frame to build the mk2 "bike you should be riding".....but that will allow mk1 to be stripped and sold off along with my current daily driver.....

The components i have left are either spares or ear marked for the builds.

Why bother hanging into stuff was my realisation a few years back.....either you will change your mind and will no longer want it or it won't be the right size, colour, exact year, condition, model, flavour, smell .........

Just buy the right bit you need with all piles of cash from selling a load of "life clogging" old toot and enjoy the space and mental freedom.

Viva the revolution!

Hmm . . . if we're talking frame only:

- KHS Team ST
- Kona Fire Mountain '95 in need of full strip and paint
- Kona Koa '96 very rough
- Kona Kula Supreme '06 never built -- needs a special build with top-notch parts

Then I have a part-built '95 Kona Kilauea which is stalled as I realised the frame needs a good polish and touch-up, and better parts than I have hoarded so far.

That's all I'm prepared to admit to.

Very disciplined….like it

I managed to sever the heart strings with all my historical bikes and frames, which despite being saturated with good memories of places, people and rides, just needed to go to people who would ride them….

So during Lockdown I said goodbye to

Many Oranges - P7s, C16R, O2Evo,
Proflex 855
Bontrager OR Race early
Sunn Xcircuit
Marin Team Ti early Litespeed

Currently I have 9 bikes in the stable, all built and riding.. Which is a first for me. Having no projects, seems very odd, have sold all my frames and projects over the last 12 months, partly as money is tight, and also to keep what I have running/riding 👍

5 built in the workshop at the moment.
2 road
1 gravel
1 MTB
1 folder

in the loft
1 bent
2 road
3 hardtail mtb
2 jump bikes
1 trails bike
2 full sus mbt
2 kids bikes (project in mind)

there is another folder in my mums garage.

I think thats all of them, but perhaps not. I had a cull a while ago and took some stuff to a local charity.
