The latest purchase - 1992 Raleigh Dyna-Tech Diablo

After selling my near mint 1992 Raleigh Dyna-Tech Diablo in 2021, I have always yearned after another one.

As of yesterday, I have managed to buy another one! Not a patch on my other I had, but a decent base bike to get up to something like that level at least.

I drove from Lincoln to near Oxford late Saturday afternoon for it off another Facebook group member who was moving house, and couldnt take his full bike collection with him.

I knew it needed a bit of work, and the front end sorting, so I had a look in the daylight today to see what state its in.

Reasonable, given what I paid is probably the best answer!

Yes it does, thankfully!

That was my first thing to do when I got it home lastnight. That, and remove the accessories off it!

Sorting the front end means returning to original spec? I guess that it would have been rigid with a quill stem.

Yeah, pretty much.

Although, I'm considering Diablo RS spec at the mo, as I have a set of Rock Shox Mag 30's...

Picked this up yesterday and really happy with how is rides. Not sure what to do with it apart from just ride it!
